Before we officially open The Russell Grounds for photography bookings, we want to invite a small group of local photographers and content creators to come experience it with us.
No clients. No pressure. No rental fee.
Just you, your camera, a few models to photograph if you like, and an acre of slightly wild grounds to explore.
Come find the light. Find your favourite corner. Create something beautiful.
And maybe discover somewhere you'll want to bring your own families this fall or next year.
SO... WHAT’S A CONTENT DAY?
Pretty simple.
We set it up. You come shoot.
We'll have real models, our fall photography spaces ready, and different little pockets around The Russell Grounds for you to discover.
(You are welcome to bring your own bits of decor and shoot your own family for content creators)
Come experiment. Build your portfolio. Create content for your business. Meet some other local photographers. And most importantly — experience the Grounds and imagine what you could create here with your own clients.

WE’LL TAKE CARE OF THE SETUP.
You just come ready to create.
We know how much goes into planning a shoot before you ever pick up your camera (or your phone). Finding the location. Coordinating people. Thinking about styling. Creating something that actually feels worth shooting. For this one, we’re taking care of that part.
You’ll have access to:
THE GROUNDS
An acre to wander — including the blue barn, tree swing, gardens, forest edge, with an oversized tree, open spaces, and our styled fall setups.
THE FREEDOM TO CREATE
Find your light. Try something new. Move around. Create the way you create.
THE MODELS
A few real models, including little ones, to photograph throughout the day — giving you moments to capture.
THE CONTENT
Leave with fresh images for your portfolio, website, social media, Reels and seasonal marketing.
And yes — you can use the images you create here to promote your own future sessions at The Russell Grounds.

Because we want you here at the beginning.
We've spent months preparing The Russell Grounds, tending to the soil and watching the light hit different corners of the property as the seasons shift. It's a place built on the idea that family life, in all its messy and beautiful imperfection, deserves to be captured in a way that feels like home.
So for our very first Wildly at Home Content Day, you're our guest.
We want local storytellers to walk these paths before we officially open our calendar. We want to see how you see this place—how you find the quiet moments between the trees and the way the sun filters through the vine decorated purgula.
No rental fee. No obligation to book afterward. No catch.

An informal flow designed for light-chasing. We start under the afternoon sky and move as the shadows stretch, ending with the warmest glow tucked behind the forest edge.

- Empty memory cards + extra batteries
- Shoes you don’t mind using for a walk
